Mini Animated ADS

THE OVERVIEW: 

GEICO's primary focus is on home and auto, but there was a need to promote other products we insurer, for example, RV, Boat, Commercial Vehicles, and Motorcycle insurances. These are our lesser-known products and require special attention because of the uniqueness of our customers. 

THE CHALLENGE: 

Originally, we were going to do a print advertisement campaign. However, we decided to do a short, mini-commercial that would play when customers watched other related content on Facebook. One of the main challenges was creating unique messaging for each product audience while ensuring that it aligns with the GECKO brand. 

RESEARCH: 

We spent more time reviewing and understanding each demographic's interests, needs, and desires, in addition to where they go while using their insured transportation. We were able to narrow down similar demography across the country and look at past activations to understand what resonated with the specific groups in the past. 

THE SOLUTION:

With a mix of humor and telling each customer's story, we created four videos relatable to our customers and spoke to their lifestyles. We received many positive comments about our creative, and both RV and Commercial Vehicle were our two top performers; these ran for a year due to outstanding metrics compared to our other creative.
